CME ACCREDITATION AT THE EFORT ANNUAL CONGRESS MÁLAGA 2026

The 27th EFORT Congress 2026 in Málaga, Spain, 04-06 May 2026, has been granted for a maximum of 17 European CME credits (ECMEC) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).

Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. The EACCME credit system is based on 0,5 ECMEC® for 30 minutes of CME with a maximum of 8 ECMECs for a full-day attendance to the EFORT Congress 2026.

The EACCME® credit system for the 27th EFORT congress is based as following:

  • Monday 04 May 2026 > Max. of 5 credits
  • Tuesday 05 May 2026 > Max. of 6 credits
  • Wednesday 06 May 2026 > Max. of 6 credits

The EACCME® awards ECMEC®s on the basis of 0,5 ECMEC® for 30 minutes of CME with a maximum of 8 ECMEC®s per day. cf. Chapter XIII of UEMS 2023.07.

Regulations require scanning in and out of each session to collect the total amount of hours the medical specialist attended into the scientific programme as part of the educational activity of the congress.

NOTE: Industry-Sponsored Symposia Sessions, ICS, and abstract-based sessions, Free Papers, Theatre Free Papers, Posters and Poster Walks are not subject to CME accreditation and therefore do not count in the total of hours spent in the educational activity.

Each day while entering at the congress, scan your badge at one of the CME stations in the registration area. No scan out required.

After the congress:

  • You will receive your congress Certificate of Attendance by email.
  • In the email, click on the link to complete the Survey.
  • Select and evaluate the sessions you’ve attended.
  • Submit your answers.
  • You will receive your CME certificate shortly after.

REMEMBER: It’s not possible to get your CME certificate/credits without completing the survey!
