CME ACCREDITATION AT THE EFORT ANNUAL CONGRESS HAMBURG 2024

EFORT ANNUAL CONGRESS 2024 | CME ACCREDITATION

“The 25th EFORT Annual Congress 2024, Hamburg, Germany 22/05/2024 - 24/05/2024, has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 19.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.”

Each participant can only receive the number of credits he/she is entitled to according to his/her actual participation at the event once he/she has completed the feedback form. Cf. criteria 22 of UEMS 2023.07. In order to help you issue individual certificates to each participant, please find below the breakdown of ECMEC®s credit system for the 25th EFORT congress per day:

  • Thursday 23 May 2024 > Max. of 8 credits
  • Friday 24 May 2024 > Max. of 6.5 credits

The EACCME® awards ECMEC®s on the basis of 0,5 ECMEC® for 30 minutes of CME with a maximum of 8 ECMEC®s per day. cf. Chapter XIII of UEMS 2023.07.

Regulations require scanning your badge to collect your CME points. Just scan your badge while entering the congress venue every day to start to collect the total amount of hours the medical specialist attended into the scientific programme as part of the educational activity of the congress.

Please note that the following sessions are NOT eligible for CME accreditation and therefore do not count in the total of hours spent in the educational activity:
