SERF
SERF (Société d’Etude, de Recherche et de Fabrication) was founded in 1973 and are specialists in the design and manufacturing of orthopaedic implants. it is part of “Menix Group” as “Dedienne Santé” (orthopedic), Global D (dental) and OneOrtho (Digital solutions).
In 1976, SERF invented the Dual Mobility Acetabular Cup concept – the result of a close collaboration between André RAMBERT, SERF founder and Gilles BOUSQUET, Professor at the University Hospital of Saint-Etienne (France) – achieving recognition within the field of orthopaedic products market.
Located in Décines (in the suburbs of Lyon), SERF benefits from a high quality 4000m2 efficient production tool that goes from the Research and Development lab to the clean room.
In 2014, SERF created Serf Extremity, specialized in the development and commercialisation of orthopedic implants for foot surgery.
