DEDIENNE SANTÉ is specialized in the design, manufacturing, and marketing of orthopaedic implants under its own name.

The company’s flagship products are its hip prostheses and their instrumentations. However, staying constantly attentive to our market, we are now expanding our product portfolio to include sports surgery, particularly knee and shoulder arthroscopy.

Since its establishment in 1986, DEDIENNE SANTÉ has over 35 years of experience in the field of orthopaedics!

Capitalizing on and Renewing Expertise

In 2000, the S.M.E (Medical Equipment Company) changed its name to become DEDIENNE SANTÉ, thus marking the beginning of the adventure for our company. However, its history traces back to 1986, when Gérard FONFREIDE founded S.M.E in Mauguio (34).

The brand aimed to leverage the knowledge of the DEDIENNE Group in the field of plastics, in the more specific healthcare market. Led by Jean-Claude VOLOT, the group itself is the result of the expansion of the DEDIENNE workshop founded in 1947 in Clamart (92) by Mr. Roland DEDIENNE, a distinguished specialist in precision mechanics on plastic material.

From its inception, DEDIENNE SANTÉ has focused its activities on orthopaedic prostheses and has been involved in the development of innovative cardiovascular devices such as valve rings, which it designs and manufactures for international partners.

The company owes its success to the key skills acquired in machining as well as its deep understanding of the French surgical landscape. Patrick RONDOT, by systematically building relationships with agents and distributors, prioritizes excellence in customer relations and innovation in commercial offerings. Thus, he provides the necessary commercial impetus to DEDIENNE SANTÉ and enables it to focus on its proprietary implant ranges.
