EFORT Open Reviews is the official journal of the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EFORT) and provides high quality instructional review articles on all aspects of orthopaedics and traumatology.

As of the 01 January 2022 EFORT Open Reviews is now published by Bioscientifica, a trusted and well established society publisher. All content remains freely available and fully searchable as part of this transition from the journal’s previous publisher, Bone & Joint Publishing.

EFORT Open Reviews is a fully open access online journal. It is an authoritative resource for trainees and supports practising orthopaedic surgeons in keeping informed about the latest clinical and scientific advances.

The Editor-in-Chief is Professor Pierre Hoffmeyer from the University Hospital of Geneva (HUG).
