About Us

The British Editorial Society of Bone & Joint Surgery was formed in 1953 for “the advancement and improvement of education in orthopaedic surgery and allied branches of surgery”, achieved through the publication of The Bone & Joint Journal, and related activities. The Society owns and publishes The Bone & Joint Journal, Bone & Joint 360 and open access journals Bone & Joint Research and Bone & Joint Open. In 2021 the Society launched two new digital products for the orthopaedic community: OrthoMedia (orthomedia.org.uk) and OrthoSearch (orthosearch.org.uk)
