Accommodation in Athens: General Conditions

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

MCI Suisse SA is the official congress partner for hotel accommodation and is the only agency offering accommodation on behalf of the 28^th EFORT Congress Athens 2027. Hotels occasionally publish online or last-minute promotion rates for a limited number of rooms which may vary from the prices contracted for this congress.

As the official EFORT 2026 partner, MCI Switzerland offers highly dedicated customer service and professional support for all your accommodation needs. We can offer you great deals in a wide range of hotels in the vicinity of the congress venue and all over the city of Málaga. Early booking is highly recommended as rooms typically sell fast in prime locations and hotels have limited capacities.

HOW TO BOOK YOUR ACCOMMODATION

In order to make a hotel reservation, please access the registration platform (available soon) and choose your hotel accommodation.

INDIVIDUAL RESERVATIONS

Participants can book their hotel room online through the registration platform; a deposit covering the full stay will be required to confirm the booking. The deposit can be settled directly online by credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) or by bank transfer. After a successful reservation, you will receive a written confirmation by e-mail. When checking out, all extras (mini-bar, telephone charges, room service, etc.) must be settled with the hotel directly.

GROUP RESERVATIONS

Groups can book their hotel rooms online through the registration platform. To receive a personalised offer, we invite you to contact us at efort.reghot@mci-agency.com.

PAYMENT POLICY

• All payments are to be made in Euro. VAT may increase without notice and any such change will be reflected in final rates.
• From Friday 12 February 2027, only payments by credit card will be accepted for individual bookings.
• For groups, payment by bank transfer will be available until 31 March 2027.
• Credit card: only Eurocard/MasterCard, Visa and American Express are accepted.
• Please note that the merchant name that would appear on your credit card statement would be “MCI Group Satigny CHE“.
• In some particular cases, payment by credit card may not be available.

Please indicate the participant‘s / group‘s name, identifier and “EFORT 2027” on ALL payments (for example, EFORT 2027-I/XX or G/XX).

All expenses shall be borne by ordering customer. Please note that intermediary bank fees may be applied, please verify with your local bank.

Cheques: please note that payments by personal cheques are not accepted.
